As part of Scope’s Time to Get Equal campaign, which is aiming to change the way disabled people are perceived and treated, an innovative exhibition of original artwork has been created by In The Picture.

22 beautifully framed pictures from the In The Picture image bank were shown very briefly - for one evening only - at the In The Picture event in April 2008. The response was so positive that several venues have offered to host future shows.

The work includes the original Quentin Blake pictures and work by Jane Ray and Nicola Smee to name but three. To see them in real life is wonderful!

Galleries and museums in particular wanting to reach wider audiences and with a commitment to diversity in all its guises can build activities and events around the work whilst at the same time helping to promote the aims of In The Picture to more people.

Horsebridge Gallery, Whitstable, Kent - July 2008

The In The Picture artwork was on display at the Horsebridge Gallery as part of Whitstable's Oyster Festival.

Response to the artwork was extremely positive and the message of including all children has reached a new audience.
