Illustrator Quentin Blake has donated three illustrations in his unique style to the project.

Inspired by photographs and images of disabled children and written guidance provided by the project, Quentin has drawn three lively and colourful illustrations which he hopes will encourage other illustrators to include disabled children in their work.  He says:

"One of the good things about illustration is that you can control the way you do it ... what you are thinking about is what the child is doing; their expression and the elements which it has in common with everybody else.  It is not a separate strand - it is about disabled children being part of the make up of a story, in the swimming pool or playground or wherever ..."
