Project partners

In The Picture is part of Scope’s Time to Get Equal campaign and still involves the people from its original steering group comprising illustrators, writers, publishers and people from the voluntary sector.

The stories strand of the project was run in the first year of the project by Scope in partnership with Liverpool John Moores University. More students have been involved in year two across the UK.

The links section of the site represents some of the key organisations that have been involved since the start of the project.

We are grateful for the enthusiasm of all the children, schools, nurseries, playgroups, families and disabled people that have contributed and continue to contribute to the project. A very small number are represented on our sign up page.

Thanks to the Big Lottery, Sikh Arts and Cultural Association, I-explore and Surestart for initially funding In The Picture.
