By promoting the inclusion of disabled children in early years' books In The Picture aims to overcome the isolation many disabled children feel as a result of their impairment and change the way disabled people are perceived and treated by society.

This section of the website celebrates the work of authors, illustrators, publishers, booksellers and libraries who have been nominated as an In The Picture Champion 2007 by truly putting disabled children "in the picture".
