Education and Early Years

<<Back

By promoting the inclusion of disabled children in early years' books In The Picture aims to overcome the isolation many disabled children feel as a result of their impairment and change the way disabled people are perceived and treated by society.

Education and early years' settings can play a large part in this process - by ensuring that all children feel represented and included.

This section of the website celebrates the work of those involved in education and early years who have been nominated as an In The Picture Champion 2007 by promoting the aims of the project and truly putting disabled children "in the picture".
