What's The Story?

This colourful, upbeat image shows a mobile toy library. Toy libraries in buildings or vans are a community resource for play and can include toys for loan, equipment and a dedicated place to play with trained staff. You can find out more information by visiting the National Association of Toy and Leisure Libraries website

In the picture a young boy is using a ramp to access the library van. He is using a walking frame. Not all people with a physical impairment use wheelchairs. Less than 10% of all disabled people use a wheelchair and there are many other ways of illustrating a physical impairment!

The children in the foreground look like they are about to make this picture more inclusive by joining the boy on the ramp.
