What's The Story?

The one shown in the picture is a "DynaVox System". This communication aid will vocalise pre-programmed words and responses at the touch of a button - read more about DynaVox here.
There are many other types of voice output communication aids [Vocas] available - from devices that will speak one response [like our picture of children using Big Macks] to sophisticated displays that change when you select a button. Children can acquire communication aids when quite young. This boy is due for a new one as he has had this since he was five years old!
