What's The Story?

This is one of a set of three photographs showing how tracking hoists are used.

In this image the boy has been positioned in a sling [the silvery grey material around him] and the two support workers are about to attach the sling to a hoist. The hoist shown here is moveable and can be used anywhere around the school [image 3 shows a permanent system]. It is electrically operated. Once the sling is attached, the hoist will winch the boy up and out of his wheelchair and swing him around into the position he needs - see image 2.
